Care:
Avoid rough handling and heat
Ultrasonic: never
Steamer: never
Warm, soapy water: safe

Stability:
Heat: may crack, cleave, or lose color
Light: stable
Chemicals: senstitve to hydrofluoric acid

Teatments:
Waxing common in tumbled stones to hide cracks. Moderately stable.
Irradiation is rare and can produce amazonite from white microcline.
